Running order for the football show

Introduction- Introducing the audience to the show, host and the guests( talks to them what they what do,like and who are they). 0-2mins

Recent news- recent news on football( team changes and managers changes) 2-5mins

reporter- This is where  our reporter on the field is shown and talks about the recent news topic at the stadium that the main change happens. 5-6mins

Tournaments- This is the part of the show where the host and guest talk about tournaments up coming and going on. 6-9mins

ending- the host end the show by saying when they be on next and the guest that be next time. 9-10mins

what is a Multiple camera?

Its when you use more than one camera to film the same shot but at different angles. The diagram to the left show 4 camera in different positions filming 2 people. from how the cameras are positioned and where the people are I would say:
Camera 1 is filming a close up on B face (focusing on their talking)
Camera 2 is filming a mid shot of A and B( showing some body language and talking)
Camera 3 is filming wide shot of A and B( this is show the location/set and their interaction with it)
Camera 4 is filming a close up on A face( focusing on their talking)

Multi- camera Productions are used for films( filming an explosion from different angles because they lost a lot of money to set up again) Presenter shows( top gear as they will film the presenters from different angles) and for the news ( 2-4 cameras on the presenters/journalists 1 camera for the weather and maybe 1 camera if they have a local news section like the BBC have).  The main reason for them doing a multi camera shoot is money and time saving and conferences.

filming any of the film or TV types listed above will cost a lot of money to do with a single camera or a multi camera  but You will be saving money for a multi camera for these. E.e top gear when they present the news they they will need 5 cameras, one camera for each of them( their 3 of them) 1 camera for the 2  that sit next to each other and 1 for a wide shot that will film all 3.  if it was a single camera you will need to film this 5 times the amount that you would for a multi camera production.  You will be saving money by filming it all at once as making it a single camera will take days to a week to film what could be a day. Saving money on cost of staff equipment, food, and the cost for the presenters. this will also making it hard to edit as show the episode the same week. and give the footage in bit when the show 4 days later is risking not making it to the deadline.

1st shoot is a camera on the dolly and this cuts to a different camera ( a camera between 2 and 3 on the diagram above) let the viewer see the presenters the camera then zooms in so they become more in frame.

After they introduce them selfs they show the tops stories of the day. They talk over these footage.
This cuts to the same shot as before the top stories.  After a quick talk about the top stories it cut to where camera 1 is on the diagram. The camera shows 3 people.person A and B ( in the diagram) and C is on a screen next to B. Next The camera only show the sports man. the camera will be facing him dead on( between 2 and 3 in the diagram).

For the Viral advert i decided not to film it but to draw Terrence and Philip in photoshop. This is because i could not get an image from the internet that had them as 4 layers in stead i found them as one layer and i could't use this because using the puppet tool would make the whole image move not just the parts that i wanted to move. The Canadian flag and With Out My Anus where both got from the internet however I edited the With Out My Anus poster with text and the Comedy Central image which I got from the internet and added them all together in photoshop.  The music is form the south park movie and i added the instrumental version of it to the advert so fans of south park will know what the song is but if I used the normal version the lyrics might mislead the viewer what is being said due to the fact that the narrator is very quite and is hard to hear. This is due to me using a bad mic or recording software or both. This advert was rendered as a quick time video making it easy to watch on the internet on websites like Imdb and it also makes it viewable for people who want to watch it on the iPhone or androids phones. Overall I like the Viral advert I liked how the Terrance and Philip looked and moved but the only thing i don't like is the narrating and voices for Terrance and Philip as it too quite.

This is my storyboard for Terance and philip show with out my anus.

Its starts with the flag and a voice over.

Then cut to Terrance and Philip. with a spinning flag.

They talk till Terrance farts and they laugh about it

Ends with showing what the advert was for( TV SHOW) with a voice over.


Effects

Layers- Terrence and Phillip are both drawn and added as 2 different layers for each of them.

Mattes-Terrence and Philip are on top of a moving background.

Key frames- Key frames where used to make Terrence and Phillip by adding keyframes on both parts of their heads and changing the position . the background was added to spin by making the key frames for the flag far apart, and I used key frames to make Terrence move when he farted by rotating him and changing his possession.

Ive had 3 idea for my FMP

1. Come Die With Me

Come Die With Me is a parody of Come Dine With Me in which 5 horror characters do Come Dine With Me. It will have 5 episodes 1 for each person. it will not have a script and all be improv as it is with come dine with me. This will be a comedy with a bit of cooking when come dine with me is cooking with a hint of comedy.

2. The League

The league is a action short film in which a League of assassins with demonic powers fight each other to be the head of the organization and fighting for their own survival when templars want to destroy them. This will be a short film about 15mins long.

3. Battle of the garden

Battle of the garden is a black comedy action in which a kid is playing with army men having a battle in the garden. This will keep cutting with the imagination of the kid who playing with these toys. This will be a short film 10mins long.

The Brief was to make a advert for a local youth group so they can put the video on their webpage. We came up with this idea after having a meeting with Justin ( captain of boys and girls brigade), as they don't need a training video as its all volunteer work as you don't need any training to do any of this work. Me and Michael worked well as a team. Michael did most of the filming and editing. When i went out and got the client and did all the direct talking to him. I let Michael do most of the filming and editing as he don't really do it before till then as he was always an actor so i wanted to see if he could do but with my help. We did finish it to the time scale for the client as he wanted to by the 24/06/14 however we don't complete it to the scale for the college which was early this year. We had to filming it at night time as that was the time groups started and ended on friday and tuesday. This was in issue as we had to film out side one of theses nights. Cost wise it was fine as it was in south church which is the next stop from southend central so the price for a train ticket was the same for both stations.  Legal issue was a problem as 3 of the kids could not be filmed for reasons. so we had to try not to film them or if we did we will have to edit them out. The finished product was good overall I though it showed of the youth group as what it is ( a fun place to be). I like the fact that the outside shots where in it as i thought it might be a bit to dark to see whats going on. The only thing i don't like was the fact that the writing was hard to read due to its colour blended into the background to much and their was no logo of the youth group in the video.  We got good feedback over from the client he thought it looked good but he don't like the fact their was no logo in it. The video is not on Facebook so we got no feed back from that and on youtube its got too little view and no comments so no feedback their. Overall i like the finished video as it looks good, we got free music and the kids we can't film were not in the video. however it does need the logo and readable text before it the client will be really happy with it.
